From time to time I will be posting restored pens for sale as well as on our Facebook and Instagram feeds. If you see something you want, let me know with a message containing your name and address; While this is a first come first serve situation, items will remain on the list until payment has been received at which point they will be marked as sold. The condition of each pen is described and is complete as far as I can ascertain, this description will include a photo album as well as a writing sample. If further cosmetic work is desired for a pen beyond what has already been done, the work can be discussed along with any additional cost. Pens come with a 1 year warrenty backing the restoration work on the filling system.

Conklin #2 (Black Chased Hard Rubber) - $150 - Album

Description:
A Conklin #2 nib flattop from approximately the 1920's in a black chased hard rubber with a standard lever filling system. The nib is gold with flex.

Dimensions:
length - 10.8 cm Capped
Cap - 5.4 cm
Barrel diameter - 1.2 cm

Condition/Work done:
The pen has has a new sac installed and is in very good condition.  There is no plating loss and while the chasing is clear and even it is not deep. The imprint has slight hand wear but is fully present and legible.Please see the photo album for a complete photographic assessment of the quality of the pen.

Conklin Endura Ringtop (Black Hard Rubber) - $70 - Album

Description:
The Conklin Endura line came in a range of materials and sizes. This example is in black hard rubber (ebonite) with a firm fine gold nib with a standard lever filling system.

Dimensions:
length - 11 cm Capped
Cap - 5.5 cm
Barrel diameter - 1.2 cm

Condition/Work done:
The was heavily oxidized and the imprint was worn so the pen underwent deoxidization to remove some of the oxide. The pen is now mostly black, contrast to unoxidized section in the album. The distinctive red bands are slightly worn. Please see the photo album for a complete photographic assessment of the quality of the pen.

Eclipse Ringtop (Red Hard Rubber) - $80 - Album

Description:
A petite ringtop in red hard rubber with a warranted 14k gold nib providing some degree of flex.

Dimensions:
length - 10.5 cm Capped
Cap - 5.2 cm
Barrel diameter - 1.2 cm

Condition/Work done:
The pen has minor scratches and wear but no plating loss. There are no imprints on the barrel or cap. The groove in the cap in place of the cap band is not of consistent depth. Pen has had its sac replaced and had a balm applied to reduce oxidization. Please see the photo album for a complete photographic assessment of the quality of the pen.

Esterbrook LJ (Green) - $55 - AlbumListing

Description:
The LJ is the standard length slim girth variant of the Esterbrook J series.  With attractive colors and replaceable screw in nib units, the J series is an excellent introduction to vintage. The nib int he pen is a 1555 which is a Gregg (firm fine) with a rolled steel nib.

Cap - 2.25" / 5.72 cm
Barrel diameter - 0.37" / 9.62 cm

Condition/Work done:
Pen is in excellent condition with minimal signs of use.  Sac has been replaced and nib has received minor tuning. The nib has had silicone grease applied to the threads to ensure a good seal. Please see the photos for a complete photographic assessment of the quality of the pen.

Description:

Mabie Todd Swallow (Black) - $70 - Album


Description:
A classic black lever filled fountain pen with an interesting diamond breather hole. 5” / 12.64.95” cm Capped. Fine (Minor bounce) nib.

Condition/Work done:
The pen is in user grade condition with some minor scuffs from posting. Additionally there is some blow out at the lever due to shrinkage, see photos. Sac has been replaced and nib has received minor tuning. Please see the photo album for a complete photographic assessment of the quality of the pen.

Description:
Standard Parker 17 with aerometric style filling system. 5.2” / 13.40 cm. Nib - Fine Steel Hooded

Parker 21 Set (Black) - $70 - AlbumListing

Description:
Parker 21 Pen and pencil set with Lustraloy cap. The set comes with both the instructions and original box that came with the set.

Dimensions (Pen):
Length - 5.22" / 13.25 cm capped
Cap - 2.42" / 6.15 cm
Barrel diameter (max)- 0.47" / 1.18 cm

Dimensions (Pencil):
Length - 5.00" / 12.70 cm

Condition/Work done:
Both pen and pencil are fully functional. The fountain pen has been cleaned, polished and inspected. The pencil comes with a small lead in position and a spare in the pen. Overall both are in good overall condition. The fountain pen does have a scratch on the cap from the clip. The photos provide the most complete assessment of the overall condition.

Parker 45 (Grey) - $40 - Album

Description:
 An evolution of the Parker 51 and hooded nibs in the interest of streamlining production. The filling system is a cartridge. 5.36” / 13.62 cm Capped. Nib - Inset / Hooded Medium.

Condition/Work done:
The pen is in good condition with some minor posting marker. An empty cartridge is included which can be refilled using a syringe. Please see the photo album for a complete photographic assessment of the quality of the pen.

Parker 51 "Special" Aerometric (Burgundy - Brushed Cap) - $80 - Album

Description:
A Parker 51 "Special" was the more affordable variant of the Parker 51 line. Carrying the iconic styling of the Parker 51 with a steel nib. The Parker 51 is a mainstay within the fountain pen community as a reliable everyday carry and reliable. Many consider it an iconic representation of fountain pens at their peak. Nib - Hooded Medium .

Length - 13.6 cm capped
Cap - 6.2 cm
Barrel diameter (max)- 1.2 cm

Condition/Work done:
The pen is good condition with only minor wear from usage. The pen has been fully disassembled and cleaned with a new sac. Please see the photo album for a complete photographic assessment of the quality of the pen.

Parker Lady Duofold (Lapis Blue) - $150 - Album

Description:
This "Lucky Curve" Lady Duofold has the characteristic "Christmas tree" feed. A petite ring top model this Duofold was designed for easy carry. Nib - Gold Fine Flex.

Dimensions:
Length - 11.5 cm capped
Cap - 5.4 cm
Barrel diameter (at imprint) - 1.0 cm

Condition/Work done:
The pen was well used and enjoyed in its lifetime. The pen has some of the barrel discoloration (darkening) typical to pens of this era and color. There is plating loss on the lowest cap band, the ringtop as well as the button for the filling system. The cap finial and blind cap were heavily discolored and treated with a process to achieve the original black color.  The process did augment some of the already present wear on both parts. Barrel has some wear from the cap but the imprint is clear and well defined and the "Lucky Curve" on the feed is intact. The filling system has been fully restored. Parker Vacumatic Imperial Pencil - $100 $90 - Album

Description:
A Canadian made Parker Vacumatic Imperial mechanical pencil.

Condition/Work done:
The pencil is in good working order with only minor micro scratches. It does include a small lead within the system and a spare stored in the barrel. Imprint is partially worn in the middle but clean and legible. Has had light polishing undertaken. Please see the photo album for a complete photographic assessment of the quality of the pencil.

Salz Brothers (Black) - $20 - Album

Description:
A black Salz Brothers fountain pen with an iridium tipped steal nib. Filling system is a lever. Length of the pen is 13.5 cm (5.3") when capped.

Condition/Work done:
The pen has distortions (likely heated in a window) to the barrel. There are minor micro scratches along the barrel and cap with some evidence of rust along the cap rivet. Please see the photo album for a complete photographic assessment of the quality of the pen.

Sheaffer Cadet “Tip Dip” set (Blue) - $100 - AlbumListing

Description:
This is a matched pen and pencil set with case. The pen is a “Tip-Dip” number 3 Sheaffer providing some bounce and line variation though would not classify as a flex. Pencil has lead. Nib - Fine 14K

Dimensions:
Length - 5.20” / 13.22 cm (Capped)
Cap - 2.45" / 6.22cm
Barrel - 0.430" / 1.09 cm

Dimensions (Pencil):
Length - 5” / 12.70 cm

Condition/Work done:
Both pen and pencil are in excellent condition. They appear to have seen little, if any, use. Pencil is in working order and the pen has had a full servicing of the filling system including new sac and o-ring. Please see the photos for a complete photographic assessment of the quality of the set. 

Sheaffer Dolphin (Blue) - $50 - Album

Description:
The Sheaffer "Dolphin" was an entry level touchdown with a pseudo Imperial nib. The pen is an interesting introduction to the vintage touchdown system. Nib - Inlaid Imperial Steal Extra-Fine.

Length - 13 cm (Capped)
Cap - 5.6 cm
Barrel - 1.2 cm

Condition/Work done:
The pen is in good condition with minor wear. It has been fully serviced with new sac and o-ring. There was a minor polishing but no significant cosmetic work was required.Please see the photos for a complete photographic assessment of the quality of the set. 

Sheaffer Imperial Set (Gold Plated) - $80 - Album


Description:
While carrying the Imperial name the nib is a conical nib more closely resembling earlier Triumph nibs. The pen is a cartridge style filler with a push button converter. The ballpoint is activated by depressing the clip. Nib - Conical 14K Medium

Dimensions (Fountain Pen):
Length - 14.0 cm (capped)
Cap - 6.5 cm
Barrel diameter - 1.1 cm

Dimensions (Ballpoint):
Length - 13.3 cm (capped)
Barrel diameter - 0.9 cm

Condition/Work done:
Both pens are very clean with minimal wear and no dings. The converter for the fountain pen has been disassembled with a new sac installed. Some damage was encountered during this process. The ballpoint does not have a functioning insert. Please see the photo album for a complete photographic assessment of the quality of the pen.

Sheaffer Imperial IV Touchdown (Black) - $75 - Album | Listing

Description:
The Sheaffer inlaid nibs are possibly one of the most iconic pen designs. An instantly recognizable taste of 60’s design aesthetic. Came in both cartridge and touchdown ink systems. This particular example uses the touchdown filling system. Nib - Fine Inlaid 14K 585 Hallmark

Condition/Work done:
Overall good condition, shows some signs of standard use. Filling system has had a full restoration with a general nib tuning. Minor polishing has been done but signs of wear have been left. Please see the photo album for a complete photographic assessment of the quality of the pen.

Sheaffer PFM I (Black) - $280 - Album

Description:
The Sheaffer PFM or Pen For Men was cross over between Sheaffer's Snorkels and the new Imperial line of pens yet larger than either pen it took design from. An inlaid nib with Snorkel filling system the PFM was the heavy weight of the Sheaffer line. The Mark I is a full resin body and cap with stainless steel trim and a Palladium nib. Nib - Inlaid Imperial Fine.

Barrel - 1.3 cm

Condition/Work done:
The pen is in excellent condition with only very minor wear from use. It has been fully serviced with new sac and seals. There was a minor polishing but no significant cosmetic work was required. Please see the photos for a complete photographic assessment of the quality of the set.

Description:
This is an example of a Waterman that would have been in a set intended for doctors. The pen is a taperite section with a 14K nib providing flex with noticeable line variation.The pen is full length with a lever filling system.

Dimensions:
Length - 11.48 cm Capped.

Condition/Work done:
The pen is in good condition. The filling system has been completely restored and the pen has had minor cosmetic polishing. The lever has plating loss but polishes up nicely. Please see the photo album for a complete photographic assessment of the quality of the pen.
